I can't make my mind up about painting the lip and side skirts to match. I have a rear lip but I'm not going to put it on until I decide (and act). I know tons of people have asked for opinions on this very subject and since every car is different I'll ask too. Paint silver or no?

 

here's what i would do:

if you are painting them yourself, paint the side skirts and see how you like the unpainted front lip. you can always then spray the front lip later.

if you're having a shop do the painting, paint them all at once. i'm not a huge fan of having stuff unpainted.

 

I say get an OEM SIR lip, "spoon mirrors" and leave both un-painted and the sides un-painted.

 

i had my oem front lip, side skirts and aftermarker rear lip painted on my EJ8, and it makes the car just flow. i vote for painted.

 

definatly paint the sides, loved how it looked on my vsm when i had it, as for the lip, leave it for now and see how you like it

I say paint them, I will look much better. But if you do decide to paint them, make sure you do a good job and put many coats on the front lip cause it will chip like crazy. Because black looks better than half assed painted silver.

and worst case, you dont like the silver so you paint them black again.
