Icon6 Frost White EJ2 build

just a lil timeline of my coupe all comments welcome
some background on my car
i bought it with 182k for dirt cheap needed a head gasket
changed the headgasket drove it for a week then swapped it
did all simple maintenance on it bought all new suspension for it
then slowly modded it to what its at now, sitting strong at 210k
and i bought the car last march
i was gonna sell it and build my hatch but it got rear ended so i focused back on my coupe

How i first got it

then it was time for a swap

then tried out a roof rack for a lil

then got my suspension and went semi low

and how my interior is at the moment

then traded the sunflowers for some konigs

then got ready for winter and sold my lip

then traded the konigs for jmags, and got a beaks bar and trunk brace and got a uncut bumper and ex lip

then picked up da seats and swapped pans and rails so all bolts lined up

some newer pics

some pic from today 1/7/12 since it was nice out

Here's a small update that I did recently for now till it gets fully tucked and resprayed

newest update 7/1/12
so since no one wanted to give me what i wanted for the car and my hatch got rear ended i decided to do what i wanted to originally. so i ordered the last parts i needed and got injectors and now onto the pics and ive still yet to full detail the car seeing it sat for 2 months

.
.
.
then i ended up having to do the clutch seeing the stock one couldnt handle the boost and would just slip
no pics of getting the one in though

.
and comparison to the two disks
.

.
and my new problem as of 7/6/12
was driving home from local meet and heard a bolt bounce under my car
and knew from when doing my clutch that the slave bolts were messed up so i knew it was my slave
i pushed the pedal and it went to the floor, luckily i was on the highway and already in 5th
so i made it to the off ramp of my town where my boy met me and we got it so i can nurse it home
so tomorrow morning im getting a new slave since mine pissed out fluid and was old

thanks i loved it too but slowly starting to hate it, seeing i cant see a street light when im under it and i keep hitting my head on it
thinking of going with a stock mirror with a broadway on it

well last night i ran a stock k series with bolt ons in a eg hatch, slick for slick and he jumped and i chased out the hole but caught him by the end of second and passed him in 3rd, and mind you it was my first time on slicks ever
.
but heres my new to me second set of rims for my car
before i refinish them

and also installed my ex front control arms and front sway bar just need new energy suspension bushing for it seeing i got them already in my front end

another update
so as some know i had more bad luck at the hubbard park meet and ended up blowing my car up on the way home, but somehow nursed it home from meriden to bpt on 2-3 cylinders and with a blown headgasket, smoking like a bitch

lesson learned dont mess with your fuel pressure regulator when you dont got a fuel pressure gauge cause you will lean the car out

but so got the car home that day and instantly started ripping it apart, and came to find out i ended up melting a piston so was then on the hunt for a bottom end and intake cam seeing it broke upon disassemble

but so i bought a bottom end off a member on here for a good price but not knowing if it ran and if it had a spun bearing or not, so got the car back together but had a few issues along the way but she ran and also bought a b20 longblock just for the intake cam lol

then on the test runs first my speed sensor **** the bed then on a few pulls oil pressure light came on then turned off then came right back on so killed the car instantly and started checking and sure enough drain plug came out cause it wasnt tightened, so didnt even get 10 miles outta fresh oil, but got that fixed and redid my valve covers gasket since that was leaking bad too, took the car back out and it was running mint

now just a few odds and ends to fix and make sure its 100% but happy with the car

now onto the overdue pics, and sorry for none after the new motor was in

lil update the second motor was put in and running good at first
then one night racing on the highway i had the return line blow off an i cut the car off and coasted to a rest stop and put the line back on and threw a quart in to make it home but upon start up it knocked for a second but was then fine, and then after doing a oil change the next day car was ok but a week later it ended up locking up on me so for now the cars sitting till i get money to build a longblock and the motivation

so some of you guys may be following my teal coupe build, but i finally made more effort on my white car and got it running and cleaned up a lil so i decided its time to post my update

bought a parts car back in February with a built b20(eagle rods,b20z pistons, and full brian crower head, cams retainers and all that) which was tuned with a b16 transmission with ls 5th gear

finally had swapped it in about a month back and instead of boosting it right away i decided to stay all motor but ran into a few issues (bad engine harness and bad grounds)

but finally got it running and starting mint now and swapped in my avid mounts finally and got 2 new tires for my buddy clubs and mounted them

now onto the most recent pics of my car
