someone suggested my rear trailing arms werent OEM because of that sticker on the arm...
nice build!
I dont know of anyone making reproduction rear trailing arms? If there was im sure S1 Built would be buying them by the dozens. S1 currently visits salvage yards everyday and buys up all the trailing arms they can get there hands in.
My trailing arms are made my DeadBeat Garage i guess 😅🤣
sorry for the size, but ya. i didnt understand what hes saying. just kinda brushed it off cuz ive seen a few cars with similar stickers.
DeadBeat Garage trailing arms 😆 🤣 😂 Just kidding. I stuck the DBG decal on the trailing arm out if boredom. Ill remove it later. Im not a big decal guy lol.
Bonus pic. Let's see them parts room's 😆 🤣. I have no idea why the wife puts up with me but she does. For real though. I live in the south. Humidity is high and will absolutely destroy parts if left outside or even in my 2 bay garage. During Summer time my entire shop is covered in moisture. It looks like the entire shop is sweating. I am going to have to install a exit fan in the peak of the sealing or something.
Jim, about home much does a garage like that cost to build? I’m interested in a similar one but have no idea on prices.
Mine was $20k in 2016 and the concrete slab was already in place from a previous guest home that caught fire years back. The cost was a bit higher due to buying a heavy duty building. Hurricanes in Louisiana can clean you out if nit prepared. The 4 post lift was $2500. Not a bad price. The building has its own utility pole and meter, wired fir 110 and 220. 60 gallon 175psi compressor and lined with plenty of outlets. Had it not been for a law suit I one I'd probably not have my shop. But yes if you build a shop yourself from a kit installation could cost you only $10-$12k. It's a blessing let me tell you. 🙏 Day 1 of the current build Day 2 of the current build. On the 3rd day the torture began lol.
You can build those things here in NV via contractor for $10-$12k with concrete pad installed.
I just read " with concrete slab" concrete slabs here I'm louisiana would cost you $10k alone. I dont know how much ir cost to have a slab put down there is but here it's extremely expensive. A 40x80 slab here is about $9k alone

That's because 40'x80' is enormous. Most the 2 car buildings they pop up here is maybe half that size.

Oh ok. I see. Yes its a very large slab and with the current horrific inflation we are going through prices aren't getting any better. PS. Please excuse my misspelling in my comments. The cancer medication they have me on really makes spelling a challenge some days. My apologies
TIRES are in! Hopefully have time to ceramic coat the wheels tomorrow and get tires mounted this week. Went with yokohama advan fleva’s in stock sizing, same tires im currently running on my s2000.

Excellent looking shop space. I am really liking the huge flag display 🇺🇸. Pariot 🇺🇸. Excellant choice of tires as well. Looking forward to seeing photos of the rim/tire combo on the EM1.
Those Rims are looking OEM new!. I'm still following the restore closely. Looking forward to seeing the new shoes on the EM1 Si👍👍👍👍Keep the info and photo's coming🙂
