Very nice car. I can't wait to get my EBP Civic Si back on the road. Your project makes me want to work on her now.

Mine was missing for some reason. Didn't have any luck finding one until your post. I just hit it with some nevrdul like you did and soaked it with some oil to prevent any flash rusting. It smelled like **** for two days. Lol. It's definitely not as shiny as yours is after sanding it. I think it dropped a few decibels in the cabin which I am pretty happy about. Digging the thread. Looking forward to seeing more updates.

That sucks! I think they use almonds to prevent that. I wouldn't be too happy with them . I had a wtb ad for a used one prior to your wtb new ad . I didn't think they would or should be hard to find. I guess I was wrong. Which one are you going to use? I was contemplating a refinish for my dc2 but after seeing what happened to yours I am leaving it as is . Sorry about the shield sir.

Got back from vacation and decided to grab the em1 ( finally got a 2 car storage unit to keep them both together ) for a ride and see if i could find something quick and easy to install.. So figured swap the radiator hose clamp, radiator bracket and radiator overflow tank/cap/ hoses. Also figured id change out the 3 bolts securing the fuse box under the hood. While going to put a new bolt in i dropped it and slip under the battery tray (facepalm) so decided to take out battery and tray and clean up the bay while looking for the bolt, found it and put everything back together.

Another day off, unfortunately i lowered the insurance coverage on the em1 so shes done till next season with that said it allowed me to take a few things off to send to powdercoat. Intake arm/ manifold Breather tube, power steering hose bracket, throttle cable bracket, A/C bracket and radiator overflow tank bracket and power steering mounting bracket cant wait to get these back. Going to look at something tonight hopefully for the em1, hope their clean and ill have another update tonight

I like those seats! I'd like something along that line for my car one day.

Hmm so im a little stumped , the recaros came out of a em1 all 4 mounting holes lined up and they look like oem rails to me so i would assume ek9 rails but the previous owner used a harness on them and im looking to use oem seatbelts. Question is i cant see how the oem seatbelt buckle would be connected to the seat? Any help would be great thanks

Got the parts back from powdercoat today and they look amazing cant wait to get it all back together.. as for the seats i couldnt find anything out about what rails they were and why they didnt have a bracket for the seatbelt buckle so i did a little looking around and ordered some brackets and dropped the rails and brackets off with a friend to weld them on hopefully get back by end of weekend
