Hello Honda-Tech community I want to share our build that was mostly about the transformation of its engine bay and some add-on stuff. The build was done back in 2011 so I'll post photos from back then to its present (2017) condition which is still in WIP we're doing retucking and some changes because It just feels nice to have something unique.

The project started back in 2009 after we were hit by typhoon Ondoy. The car sank upto its door handle, luckily we are able to remove its ECU before fully submerging. It sank together with our EK9 and CRV.





After some shaving was done we decided to go with white engine bay for a cleaner look and here is the condenser we used for tucked AC because the heat here is too much.

Done painting the transmission and the engine



Mounted the engine using Innovative mounts, installed the AC lines and Gates belts. We also deleted the brake booster here.



Installed the Injen intake, Koyo radiator together with the FAL fan, Spoon radiator hose, high tension wires and the old custom headers.

Added a DIY Bart dipstick probably to make you smile and not to look too serious.



Painted the valve cover and added the Spoon headers, Skunk2 spark plug cover, throttle body and vtec covers. We also put the brake booster back on for safety.

It was very worth it to do things to your car yourself and see people appreciating what we did was overwhelming and it won Best Engine display in major car shows in 2011. Also received the best reward of getting featured at Hondatuning http://www.superstreetonline.com/features/htup-1208-2000-honda-civic-sir-sedan/ and a local magazine.

It was from banawe, shops that sell legit parts exists here.

Thank you ontariorider. Yeah I did have craftsquare sidemirrors but its too small so I put the spoon back.

 

Thank you INTEGRA00GSR. I like the shifter with its added weight and length combined it with the typeR linkage shifts really smooth. Yes I adjusted it for shorter throw, just enough for it not to hit my exhaust piping underneath.

Yes we are crazy enough to do it again. Just can't stop thinking of this car even if we worked on our other build.

Oh dang! I like the condenser tuck idea. I thought about doing that with mine when I get all my turbo parts in. Did you use an integra condenser?
