I have a shell coming from the southern states for the build. I should have it next month.

Pictures:

Taking my rather large package off the truck

I see RHD

A MOMO wheel came with it. But I bought the stock ITR MOMO wheel

Time to strip the front end

Thought I would remove the rad support first because its a lot easier and it doesn`t take too much time.

Also, this is when I bought my new DSLR camera. Canon EOS 20D. Hope you enjoy the better quality pics.

Well, thats it for now. I started on the firewall the other day so I will get pictures up of that soon. Also I will post pictures of my ``go fast`` parts soon too.

Here are the pictures of the firewall removal as promised. Removing the firewall is very time consuming. There are countless amounts of spot welds. I used just a regular drill bit to remove the rad support but thought i would buy a spot weld cutter bit to make the firewall removal a bit easier.

Here is what I am using for the firewall. This little thing was $40 alone... Well worth the money though. Makes life so much easier.

The Japanese VIN on the firewall of the car this once was.

Thats it for now. I will have more updates of the firewall progress this week.

This is what I spray all bare metal surfaces with to avoid rust from starting. It’s amazing stuff... Great for lubricating and loosening seized bolts/nuts as well.

Yeah, its shitty that it got damaged but I am going to get it reupholstered so I'm not too worried about it.

Thanks Steve. Yeah, the pics are up to date. Not at Overall yet. It will be going there once I get the shell. They are going to weld the roll cage and the fire wall in place, then I will assemble the whole car and then take it apart again for paint.

Plan is to be driving it this summer or fall. As long as I take it for a drive before next winter, I will be happy.

Feel free to stop by anytime man. We are taking the drivetrain out of my old Integra next weekend. Nathan wants to put it in his Civic shell. You are welcome to come lend a hand.

Yesterday me and my buddy got a little bit of work done.

Drilled the spot welds in the right wheel well.

Sarted grinding the tack welds.

Drilled a few spot welds on the front of the fire wall.

Still need to drill the spot welds that go under the fire wall.

There are a few left that I need to drill from the back of the fire wall and a few infront of the A-pillars. Other then that, it should be good to go. Hope to have it out by tonight.

Here is an update.

I ended up finding an Integra shell for sale that already had the RHD conversion done. Thought this would end up saving some money in the long run and I could get the car on the road a lot sooner then I planned. Also, all the wiring is done, gas door opens from the right side as well as the trunk. It just didn't come with the front end but I already have the JDM front end so its all good.

Here are some pictures of the RHD shell.

I placed the dash in there and put my steering wheel on just to look at it... haha

Its a candy color. I love the look of it but I am going to be painting it. Want to do my own thing. Still not 100% on the color I want to go with but I have one in mind. It looks like a beige/butterscotch color.
