Default darath's FA5 build

First off let me introduce myself. My name is Daniel. I've been in the Honda scene for about five years. All my previous builds have never gone right. Some getting stolen and the others just didn't work out. Never been to IA before and really wanting to go! So this build is for IA this year. The first meet is on April 17th and I'm really trying to cram some things in before then. Some of you guys might think its a short time span, but we'll see how it goes. Anyhoo...I picked up this 07 HRP FA5 on Sept. 23rd, 2010. I've done quite a bit since then..I guess.

First day I got her!

Her first wash. Keepin' it fresh!

Polished Beaks Tie Bar. (Bling factor)

FD1 Tails and VIS CF Trunk (Birthday/Christmas present from my fiance)

First snow

CTR Rear Badge

Now to continue the build..I have a 09+ Front Bumper that's just fresh out of the paint shop as of yesterday!

Jan 28
Picked up Enkei RPF1s locally. Specs are 17x9 +35

More to come! Sorry for the phone pics. I'll be getting a real camera later.

Not really feeling those new tails. I like the new bumper and wheel selection.

Some people like the USDM rear ends n others like the JDM rear ends. I personally, love the JDM rear ends. Something you don't see everyday. Around here there's hundreds of 8th gens. I just wanted to be different. Next to come will be a CTR rear bumper.

I like the JDM tails but I think they look better with the JDM headlights too.

One of the stockies got a nail in it somehow, since I don't know when. So I left work today to slap the RPF1s on before it totally went flat. Really didn't want to until I got the Buddy Club N+. I'll have pics up later today. The 09+ front is going on later today too. Keep in check!

Wow, love your build. Pretty much exactly what I wanted to do when I graduate this winter. IMO there's really nothing that looks even vaguely bad on this car. What do you have planned next?

Thanks man. Planning to drop the car on Buddy Club N+ and maybe change up the rear visor. Definitely getting a front lip. Haven't decided on one at the moment.

Here's some other shots

Coilovers came in the other day. Haven't had the chance to put em in due to bad weather, but I got the chance to yesterday! Decided to go with D2 RS coilover.

More pics later!

hey nice build so far i had a quick question about the 09+ bumper, was it just the bumper that you needed to get in order to make the front end an 09+ or did you also have to change anything else like the grille, headlights etc.

Everything is the same other than the front bumper and grill assembly. So all you need is a 09+ front bumper, 09+ grill assembly and the lower grill for the bumper.
