Building from scratch EH3 OEM + more
I've picked up a 1992 Civic Si hatch from the original owner. The first car I ever bought was a 1992 Civic Si hatch back in 98 and I've been wanting to get another one ever since. I looked around for a while because I wanted an original car with no mods and it had to be Milano Red. After looking at countless car over the past 3 years I finally came across one that was suitable. I bought this car with 370,000kms on it. It needed an alternator and power steering rack right away so I got the car for a few hundred dollars.
First step was to refresh everything that was worn and to get the car drivable again. Here's a list of everything I've done so far, all parts new unless otherwise noted:
-Alternator
-Power steering rack
-ITR front and rear lower control arms
-Rear toe adjusting links
-Trailing arm bushings
-Sway bar bushings and links
-Brembo blank rotors all around
-PBR Metal Master pads all around
-Brake fluid flush
-Power steering flush
-OEM optional rear speaker kit
-Aragosta coilovers (bought with 2 sets of springs)
-Full A/C swap from a 95 Civic Si coupe (used)
-New windshield
-Replacement driver's seat-(used, original one had lots of wear)
-CV axles
-Front bumper from a 95 Si coupe with front lip (used)
-Color coded replacement power mirrors (used)
-4300k HID kit
-JDM 2 piece SiR spoiler
That's it so far. I've got replacement rear quarters on order to get rid of the rust and then it's off to the bodyshop for a full re-spray. I'm working on getting a set of summer wheels right now.
Here's a few pics for now. More to come in the next few days.
Old suspension setup (Skunk2 Pro C coilovers and lower control arms) Got rid of it because it was too choppy for street use.

New setup: Aragosta with 8k front and 6k rear for street and 14/12 for track.

I'll try to get more pics tomorrow. As for the Skunk2 rear LCA, I didn't have them on the car long enough to know if the bushings are any good. I just try to keep it OEM as much as possible. So far I'm really happy with the ITR rear LCA.

Yeah it's a D16Z6.
I'm gonna start taking my spare engine apart tomorrow and I'll post up some progress. I'm also getting my rear quarter panels replace in the next week or two.

Rust is getting fixed soon. I'm on the lookout for wheels right now and rebuilding my spare engine. I also need to get a clutch and lsd transmission in the next month or so.
Update, I had a little time to work on the car this weekend. I installed most of my air conditioning set-up. Put my summer set (Acura 1.6EL wheels). I'll be getting new tires in the next few weeks. I also installed my spare Si coupe bumper with the front lip.

Thanks, I'm repainting Milano red for sure since it's my favorite color. I'm in the process of taking the engine out of the ITR for a rebuild since there is a pretty bad rod knock and it's burning some oil. 2 projects at once keeps me busy enough.
Lol I've always got a ton projects going on! I'm about to get a cx hatch that needs a whole new front clip, but I'm excited to get into an eg.
Fresh Milano Red is always sexy!
