can you point me in the direction to read up on the seam welding and it's basics? i mean i know you weld a ton of spot welds to tighten it up but how much does it help?
i'm thinking long term lifewise to add to the car's stability

Sure no problem! first you will need to get a hold of a chassis layout of your car this will allow you to see the structure of the car before it has been put together there you will determine the weak points of the car, im sure you can find it on-line, second find a book about seam welding and stitch welding what ever you want to call it, try amazon or any automotive fabrication web-sites. I dont have any with me i appoligize! Every car builder will have their own opinions on seam welding so dont be discouraged. Try what is best for your needs, if you building a drag car build one way, road race another way drifting another way, it all depends. But true car builders will understand the engineering behind it all not what just looks cool. Good luck my friend and have fun!

Her some new pix of the USDM 88-91 civic tranny bracket being placed up for alignment upon welding. The stock bracket is very flimsy, i think im going to just machine a new plate thats a little bit thicker to hold up the motor.

Notice that the cable tranny rear mount bracket is about and 1' and 1/4 short. I will need too fabricate a custom rear bracket. The things you must fabricate to put in a hydrolic transmission with a clutch master cylinder in an EF.
