Default 90 Edbox saved from the crusher

So i have have had lots of cars and a few of those have been civics but the favorite one I always wanted back was my ef sedan it had my heart. My first one was a 91 dx blue on blue. I was never so sad as the day I sold it to upgrade to a new ride. So here Iam 5 years later playin around on the denver CL and i find a 90 Ex posted for $700.

It had been sitting for 2 years the guy who had it had been out of the country and was soon to be leaving again. He told me if it did not sell by the end of the week he would be taking it ti the recycle center. He said the only problems he knew of were the dizzy and the windsheild. After looking over the car and pricing a new dizzy i offered him $400 cash. He took it, I now had another edbox! Before leaving his driveway i replaced the dizzy cap rotor plugs wires and valve cover gasket set. With a lil help the old owner helped me jump it..........He fired up on the first try!

The guy I bought it from was moving back to the Ukraine and had no need for it. He said if he didnt sell it he was gonna scrap it. I couldnt let it go its in really good shape all the power goodies work really well the paint isnt to bad there is just a lil rust in the rear on either side.

Here is another lil update. Here is ed after a wash and wax, I also picked up and old yakima rack and some OEM honda mud gaurds. Soon I want to lower the car a bit to get rid of the fugly wheel gap. I will also be deleting the power stearing and the ac soon and moving the battery to the trunk.

I also have the rear setup off of a DA integra with matching rotor pad combo and some stainless lines, and some ES bushings. Recently i was out junk picking with a friend and i came across a black lx power interior. It was near mint apart from a mangled dash and some cut rear seatbelts, That same day i also got some fresh DA Front seats

i Have gotten the inside mostly put back together, but holidays and snow have slowed me down for a few days. I will snap some pics soon i have the front seats in and my DC console back in as well, While the console was removed I got lucky and found a Skunk2 single bend and ITR style **** on Craigslist for cheap. They seem to compliment the new black interior very well. i have a few more projects sitting around for Ed i would like to do some suspension upgrades soon i found a S2 front and rear camber kit on cl very cheap the front is new the rear is lightly used, i still have alot of work to do but I feel iam off to a good start
