Hey! My name is Frank and I am the owner of Downstar. Back in 2017 I built a K-series EG that I named "Heavy In The Street$". It had Lambo doors, NOS, gutted interior and all kits of random things. Here are a few pics of it via Hoonigan:
This time we are going with a D-series. Think "2009 era" build. Power is the last thing on my mind. I am excited for this new build and I can't wait to get this vision out of my head and into reality.
In for this. I remember being at Eibach when that EG rolled out way back in the day. I also remember some black with bright green engine bay combo Civic IIRC. Maybe that's how it started? Or maybe it was a diff car...can't really recall, but that car was immaculate as well. I definitely remember seeing this bay right after it was done though.
Hey welcome back frank. Glad to see even with owning downstar, you still came back to HT. Specially with all the other social media platforms.
Pretty sure i remember seein this before on here years ago maybe. But whats up with the d series, whats that goin in?
I took the K-series out. I was planning on going turbo awd built motor but lost motivation. Now I just want a clean D-series that I can daily and not worry about getting tickets for.

Cool to see it evolve along with the company.
That car was my EG6 SIR-S. I still have that one. I just took it out to The Honda Meet in Socal on Sunday.
A d-series build in 2025!? Cannot wait to see your modern style on a old engine. I'm totally with you in my old age I just want the car to be reliable more then fast.
