Default help with chosing throttle body size

B18c1 block with jdm itr pistons
balanced internals
Head is a ITR
ferrea 6000 series valves and springs

ITR intake manifold has been cut open to port and polish runners

68mm Omni is what I would use on your setup.

I use a 68mm unit on my DD B16a the engine is 100% internally std with good boltons and tuned the car is a pleasure to drive and very good throttle response with a nice powerband for a B16a.All B18 or B20 builds I do are fitted with one of those 68mm units.

I've yet to have a POWER(professional products) TB lock up, i run a 70MM on my own car, and i have 3 builds i'm doing right now with omni 70mm's. I've had skunk2's give me stick problems but never PP or Omni.

Good results will come from a properly matched throttle body to a manifold vs a huge throttle body on a smaller manifold..

funny i hear alot of guys buying 68mm throttlebodies putting em skunk2 or blox manifolds and not port matching them, seems kinda retarded to me

the skunk2 t.b. is at the very bottom of my list on t.b's that I would run. stock style t.b.s ftw

thats the word.

but as said numerous people compliment PP and omni. i'd go for either one of those. and plan to use an omni 68mm when its appropriate.

I purchased the 70mm throttle body from Skunk2 and it works great! no problems whatsoever. the car is much more responsive and I can feel it pull harder. I can only imagine how much better it will be once i port match it to my pro-series IM.

My 2 cents I believe a type r manifold can't be ported past 65mm so any larger is dumb most aftermarket manifolds can be ported to 69-70mm sometimes ready for a 70 NM in ur case with ur mods depending on rpm spinning 68-70mm is good make sure manifold is port matched if ur spinning high rpms on track day 70+mm I believe real Honda spec. Scca cars run 72+mm
