You're okay with taking off the head though right?

I'd go with Skunk2 Pro2s, Skunk2 Valvetrain, and a Hytech replica header w/ test pipe or custom cat. You can find mildly used Skunk2 parts on Honda-tech for half the retail price. You're only 17whp away from your goal so you should have np getting there with these parts.

There are dynos posted for several stock short block ITR motors making the power you are looking for; you should check them out.

With a GOOD header, big cams (Pro1s or at least BC3+) you should be pretty close. I would also upgrade to a decent intake.

Best of luck with your project.

Get a very good header. Hytech, SMSP, BISI, RMF
BC3+ cams if you are NOT going to take the head off.
AEM ITR CAI 3" with a velocity stack.
You only needed 17 more hp. These parts will get you very close if not more. Good luck.

Sorry I ment the AEM CAI for the ITR. The BPI Velocity Stack comes with a K&N filter. No sucking up dirt.

The concept of the whale ***** is intended to improve mid-range transitional throttle response, not peak power. It may be a decent road race intake, but it consistently looses to the 3" true cold air intakes on dyno comparisons. Nice bling, though.

Stage 2 tuner cams and head work mill the head to bump the compression.Good head 2.5 inch exhaust no cat and it will gain alot.3 inch intake w velocity stack.

You will make more power, over a broader range, with the Pro1s. They have similar peak lift values, but the Pro1s ramp differently.

You need to stay realistic! That thing is not going to put down nowhere near 225-230 with those few upgrades on a stock block ITR. Most of the B20vtec setups in the All Motor dyno post barely put down 210 with a wide array of parts, so why do you think your 1.8 is so special? Use the tuner 2's over the Pro1's along with an AEM/Injen CAI, a good header, and loose that kiss me *** exhaust and get a real man's 2.5" or 3" exhaust.

That's what the owner of brauning motorsports said 225-230 range bt kiss me *** exhaust? I have a 2.5 inch straight exhaust to ws2 muffler so what's a good exhaust to u a big rocket exhaust that attracts cops lol my exhaust Is fine

that muffler is restrictive. you can stay just as quiet by adding a long resonator or 2 and a magnaflow/vibrant muffler. much better flow and still pretty damn quiet
