Default ENDYN cylinder heads

It looks like the new Endyn B series heads have been out for a few weeks. Just wondering if anyone has tried one out yet.

I'll be getting a 'basic' port closed quench head when they arrive later this month for my B20 VTEC build.

Prolly won't be on the dyno for a few months though . . .

I thought it was going to be fully ported bare heads for cheap but it seems like you gotta pay extra for that. Might as well get a 909 head instead.

Im considering buying one. What is the point in me spending 500$ on ITR parts for a GSR head when i can sell the GSR head and get this for nearly the same price.

Is there any new info on this, prices, where to buy?

It was NEVER supposed to be a fully ported head for $400-500. No one would be able to produce that and stay in business. Of course, Honda kids wouldnt care as long as they "got theirs".

Im guessing you buy them direct through ENDYN. If you dont have any spare parts, starting from scratch,it looks like it would be

Head: $550
Rocker arms: $400
LMA's: $100
Rocker Shafts: $50

$1100 without valvetrain of any sort, or sensors that go on the head, water neck etc. etc.

good price on the LMA's, maybe ill just buy those.

I think you misunderstood my post though. When i originally read their goal was to sell it for 900$, i figured the cost of a GSR head with ITR internals would cost somewhere in the same boat as well. Buying everything seperate that is.

Maybe I did. I know from reading alot of peoples reactions, they were expecting fully ported ENDYN heads for $500 because they have selective reading abilities. to ENDYN for at least bringing aftermarket options to the HONDA enthusiast.

i guess i was willing to believe the optimistic claim they would be had for less than 1000$, even camless thats a stellar price.

+$725 for valves, locks, springs and retainers.
So that makes it $1825 + cost of head work $1100 so around $3000... Does enough people actually buy something like this, if you look at the initial investment of having the head made is there a real ROI for a company like Endyn?

If you read the price sheet, (http://www.theoldone.com/components/...es%20Specs.htm)
it clearly states what the cost of the entire head assembly (head with all of the components) will be.
If you add the prices of the individual components, the sum is considerably higher than it is when you purchase the assembled head (just as it is from Honda).
