Default Code 20, ELD, need help fast!!!

So when I first started my car last week my head gasket was on wrong so it sprayed oil every where and when I tried to start it again to see where it was coming from it wouldnt start, my Tach started bouncing up to 3 grand then I shut it off

I replaced the head gasket and tried starting it tonight and everything is hooked up, fully charged battery and it wouldnt start, then I threw up a code 20 for the ELD

I am thinking it is a blown fuse for for the Alternator/ speedo sensor because my tach bounced after the last time it started

where is the Alternator/ speedo fuse? because my fuse box's dont have the stickers on them

does anyone else know what could possibly be wrong and where I should check to fix the problem

all help is appreciated

i guess some cars have an eld and some dont? mine never had it and threw a code so a fusebox with one, and the code went away.

maybe something shorted in there? blown fuse? missing one?

If you are running a chipped ECU, simply dissable ELD using Crome.

cant find the problem, i used 3 different ecus to try to start it

the battery light and check engine light are extremely dim, could this be due to a bad ground?

I just replaced the alternator but cant find the VSS/Alternator fuse in the fuse box

found it, it was a loose tranny ground

this is exactly why i dont like to wire cars with friends, they leave loose bolts that get looked over on the final visual inspection

would that loose ground cause my black and yellow distributor wire to get friend?

i believe the black and yellow wire is a ground for the coil and when i tried turning the key would it cause it to fry the wire?

thank you for posting that. There is no fuse for the ELD. Its built into the fuse box. my integra has a code showing for it, but the code alone wont trigger your CEL. Replace the ground wires.
