Hi I hope I can get some advise here I'm currently running a b20vtec with buddy club valvetrain P1 valve springs titanium retainers vales ect. I want to change my spec3+ cams for skunk2 pro2 cams. Looking on buddy club online there's no information on there valve Spring rates ect though they recommend the only springs retainers they sale on all of there cams. Looking at the specs the sk2 pro2 cams have a very similar lift to the bc spec4-5 cams. My question is could I safely keep my buddy club springs and titanium retainers and run the sk2pro2 cams ?

Only way to safely know is to have them measured. Not many people here use BC valve train...usually it's either Supertech or S2.

If it were me, I would sell what you have as a package and buy the correct VT. Thats a big jump from 3+ to Pro2.

 

Thank you. Yes il look into getting them measured out of curiosity. I find it strange how there springs can run spec3 up to there wildest cam. I emailed buddy club regarding there Spring rates but had no reply. 👎🏻
