I've tried searching, with no real answers.
I'm wondering what is the biggest diameter exhaust you can run with a stock cat?
I bought a Type-r Rep header, which has a 2.5" outlet, so before I bother taking off the Jasma style 2 piece header, I want to make sure the Type-r Rep will fit.
Any info is appreciated, TIA.
PS. the car is an LS integra.

Why can't you run as big of an exhaust as you want to?
What are your goals here?
A 3" exhaust will still net you more power than a 2.25" or 2.5", but you'll pay for it dearly in decibels.

I'm just wondering the diameter of the stock cat for inspection reasons.
I plan on throwing on an aftermarket catback with the header for the time being, while I build my LSVTEC-Turbo on the side, then I will be running 3" the whole way. So spending the money on a highflow cat to run for only a few months seems pointless. Understand now?

It will all fit. Just take it to an exhaust shop, they'll have the necessary gaskets/flanges to make it bolt on. Not sure why you're being so hard headed about this.
What will you do about inspection once the car is turbo'd?

Imm not being hard headed, I'm just not looking to spend a couple hundred bucks on a high flow cag that will only be on for a couple months.
And I work in a shop and have my inspection license so I won't need to worry about inspecting it down the road when it's boosted, but for my inspection coming up I can't do it because I need to get my inspection license renewed which will take too long so I need to have someone else do it right now.

it was just a question. no need to get all uppity about it.
a hi flow cat is 100 bucks shipped(also non ebay) btw. i dont know why you won't buy a cat but wanna buy a header and catback exhaust(easily over 100) just to throw it out. you contradict yourself.
see what im saying?

Cat converter offers an unmentionable performance gain. The exhaust fumes are exponentially cleaner though.
I've seen several instances over the year where a street car would actually lose some bottom end power when removing the cat, picking it up in the top end.
Unless it's a track only car, there's literally no justifiable reason for not running one.
A 300 cell metal core vibrant cat is ~$110
That's a much faster flowing one than stock

Guess I haven't browsed enough because I kept seeing them around $200-300.
As for contradicting myself by keepin a stock cat with aftermarket header and exhaust, I already have those. But right now it's stock cat/catback, with Jasma 2 piece Rep header, which is going to be switched out for the Type-r Rep. The catback is 2.36".
And I'm really not worried about losing power here or there, it's just a temporary engine (cammed I/H/E B18a), to just get around with. So I'm not worried about how it will perform. So I kinda just wanted to know if I could just throw them on with the stock cat, and cruise.
As for being a waste since it's only temporary. I got the catback and header for a good deal, so might as well put them to use.

didn't know you already had em. in that case ya why not.
here for the cat.
thmotorsports.com for vibrant it'll be 100-105 with free shipping cuz its over a hundred.
then you can sell your old stock cat too for like 50 bucks.
