compression test / leak down test the engine. that's weird it lost 20 hp with itr swaps.

You made 184whp on a dyno with B16 cams?

163whp with ITR cams and throttle body is normal.

Need more details.

You are saying you had this engine on an engine dyno with the vague setup above and B16 cams. The engine never went into a car or it did and you pulled it back out to try ITR cams on the same exact engine dyno with around the same outside air temps?

This is a professional shop that must have lots of experience having this type of equipment. They have the engine in their dyno cell and can't figure it out, how do you expect us to over the internet? Tell them you posted it up online.

A car dyno that measures engine/flywheel hp would be new to me. You sure it's not at the hubs?

Not likely... unless it was sprayed with a 50-shot. LOL

I think there is some confusion between the OP and the dyno operator.

Could it be 186flywheel hp
and then now tuner adjusted to read wheel horsepower?

186 x .15 = 158whp with b16 cams
then 164 whp with type r cams?

I made 158 on a b16 with gsr cams. 184hp be more like flywheel hp.

More than likely... something like this. That is why I said "confusion" in my above post.
