I have turbo B16A2 motor in my 2000 Civic SI, and I was wondering if it makes any sense changing the B16 cams to a set off GSR cams.??? I heard the GSR cams will be better for the B16 when boosting.??

Do any of you know the SPEC'S on the both cams??? eg: duration, rpm range and intake and exhaust specs.???
I did a search for this on google but not coming across any strong answers, you get different specs from different adds on google..

I don't think it would be worth my time for tiny cams.
I'm pretty sure the only decent OEM upgrade is the ITR/CTR sets as theyre comparable to most aftermarket stage 1 cams and require minimum modifications.

 

gsr cams a great for turbo, but why isnt this in the Fi section?

 

haha didnt even see that part...so yea why is this in all motor?

 

ctr/itr cams are tje way to go. although gsr are good for boost i wouldnt upgrade to other oem unless ctr/itr.

 

x2 gsr cams yeild a few ponies but ive seen type r cams on turbo aps put very impressive gains down. def. worth the lil extra for the type r cams.
