Default B16A or B17 head, on a B20 block

I have access to either a B16 head or a B17 head. Which one flows better? Which one should I use?

Thanks

GSR head with a minor port.. is by far the best cylinder head. IMO

Does the B17 GSR head use the same bolt pattern as the B16 for Intake and Exhaust manifolds?

Sorry, just wanted to make sure as the newer GSR heads aren't. Anyways, still a noob.

Ok, so the B16/B17 head are the same. However, the B18C1 head flows better. Is that correct?

supposively b16 head flows better. Difference is the chambers in the gsr head is smaller hence the compression difference if you get my drift.

The B17 GSR motors used a PR3 head, which is the B16/ITR head. Only the B18C GSR motors had the P72 heads.

P72s heads make more compression, PR3 heads flow more CFM from the factory, especially ITR PR3 heads which have been factory ported.

If you are going to have the head professionally ported most people prefer the GSR head due to chambers and quench design, but ultimately it doesn't matter they will make within 1% of each other when built.
