I'm interested in if anyone knows of any 300+whp H22A's all motor..
The main reason being one of my competitors is claiming to be making 360-400hp and I was interested if anyone thinks its possible?? or is he just talking his motor up?

300whp h22's are jumping out of the Endyn garage

 

Nah he is surposed to be coming out at one of our first big events at the end of January, they are talking about mid 10's off the trailer... Fingers crossed I can get my car running perfect by then and bet him anyway..

why dont you call a pro engine builder and let him know your goals and how fast you want to be. having a fat wad of cash helps.

if people can do 250ish on a street motor. then im sure someone can hit 300+ with no vtec, race head, race header, 110+ octane, no exhaust cam gears set for hp between 5-10krpm and whatever else needs to be done.

how about everyone stop talking about endyn because that wont lead to anything constructive.

im pretty sure that hytech does have some roller rocker arms that would certainly help hit 300whp.

also you might want to think about getting a b-series or another tranny. that will depend upon what race class you are in. I doubt the h-series can see 9k rpm shifts all day long.

so what race class are you in?

 

300+ whp from an H series? yes. A 2.2L H series probably not.

 

me I'm running a K20A, we are the begining of the All Motor class Like the one Skunk 2, Eric's racing etc run in...

The guy is building a H23-22 hybrid I think, I was just trying to get an idea of how fast it was going to be..

sure it can be done, mark brauning posted a dyno chart a while back of a k-series and said his h series was lil less on the hp but beat it in tq ... I'm sure it wasn;t a 2.2 liter but its an h-series.

Proably 2-3 h motors makin that kind of power and I'm sure 1 isnt his

 

my co worker has a all motor h22 with stock head with cams making 248 with 25" slicks on the car if thats any help. i think its more attainable to hit 300 whp than most people think.

 

I personally think its possible, but I have yet to see any charts. Most of people making that amount of power don't want anyone to know how they did it, especially not spreading it around on the net. If the old school british touring cars which were the accords and they made 300whp. They were all running f20b that are only a 2.0.
Its possible if you have a fat wallet and a lot of time.

I think they were more like 310 bhp but at a max of 8500 rpm and they had to run for 2 races. Drag is completely different.

But just say 300bhp from 2L, a 90x95 H series is 2.4L so that's 360bhp.

 

Whats completely different, I know the motors are different with rod/stroke/ and bore, etc..... but considering the h22 or h23 has more displacement it would seem to be more attainable. Does it matter that the f20b was making the power at 8500rpm, because every N/A built motor is usually gutless under the upper rpm's.

I thought i read or saw a pic somewhere but on the british touring accords, didnt they have the heads rotated around... intake infront and exhaust in back.

They did that for NATCC also, reported to attain 1 psi in the IM from it.

Well Bisi is making 347whp on his F series, so it is fully possible, but keep in mind that doesn't mean this guy is.

Don't get worried. Time will tell if he is BSing you.

 

If Bisi built the H22 I could see it maybe?

BTW:
There are many people that have had bad dealings with Larry at Endyn.

I for one would like commend him for what he has attributed to the Honda Performance movement.

He spoke with me for hours at a time finding little tips and tricks for me to build power reliably and discussing the theory behind the tips. Trade secret stuff that I will not relay. That's his job. And I only did some of the things he suggested.

Before I spoke with Larry I knew probably half of what I know now. So, maybe I got lucky but I put down 214whp on a Mustang Dyno mild compression, mild cam B20vtec. I for one appreciate the time Larry spent guiding my build over the phone. I also realize that maybe 1/6th of the people that bash Endyn have never even spoke with him. That's something Honda-Tech is plagued by is here-say.

I guess people get angry over his whole supercharger product release.

Feel free to flame me I'm just relaying my experience.
