I found a set of Volks but I just don't know if these will these fit? I'm completely useless when it comes to offsets ...
18x7.5 +43 225/40/18
18x8.5 +47 255/35/18
18x7.5 +43 225/40/18
18x8.5 +47 255/35/18
They will work but they will be a little sunk. You could always run a small 10mm spacer if you want them more flush. The 255 tire is to big. I'm running 18x8.5 +30 with 225/40/18. With off set the bigger the + number means they will sit further in the well in short with out a in depth explanation

Hmmm ... ok, thanks Gambit ... what about this one?
Work Emotions XD9 18x8 +35
I usually just go to a shop and buy my wheels but there are some decent deals out there online. I've researched and researched but the offset stuff still doesn't make sense.

I've seen your car here Gambit, exactly the fitment I'm looking for. No tire stretching or wide *** wheels sticking out - just ... normal

Is the 18x8.5 +30 the same as the 18x8 +35?

18x8. With a +35 will be better I'm sure that close to the look you want. 18x8.5 +30 and 18x8 +35 are different. The 18x8 35 isn't as aggressive, you won't have to roll your fenders. The extra half inch width and +5 mm offset will push it that much closer to the fenders, but nothing a spacer won't fix if the price is right.
Thank you, I do still rub in the front at full lock with my height and wheel fitment though. I need to either roll more fender is lift the car a quarter inch or so

Ok - I think I've narrowed it down.
17x9 +45
I've been trolling the Internet for specs that look good and I think I've found what I'm lookin for. 17's so I can still run a little thicker of a tire if I want and maintain the ride quality. Also, so I don't have to 'body kit' it with a front lip or side skirts.
