Sorry gus, i dont own a TSX but i am planning on doing a retrofit using your guy's projectors. I came across somewhere (cant find the link now that i need it) that certain year tsx's had better projectors or light output then others. If you guys can tell me which years had the better lights, i would appreciate it. thanks

 

oh thats odd... i have a 2004, and a guy at my work has a 2007 and they look pretty much the same... even if one was brighter, you can buy a upgraded Ballasts, or just buy a new HID kit

 

They are not %100 the same. The 04-05 has better color flicker, which means it changes to more color when you drive. My gf just bought an 08 and it doesn't has that much color at the cutoff line. Beside that, I think the output is the same, if not the 06-08 seems to have a little shaper cutoff line. Also, the -04-05 has clear lens, which is suppose to be better for the projectors.

while we're on the subject of TSX projectors, did the TSX ever come without HID? i have my eye on some projectors, but the guy selling them doesn't state whether they are HID or not and it seems he doesn't know much about them and i can't tell from the pics he has..

just want to make sure they are indeed for HID. thanks for any help

no it comes standard with HIDs i work for acura

 

If I want to take the projectors out, do I have to take apart the whole headlight? Or can I just take them out from the back?

I have a set that I want to retrofit as well....

there are bolts on the back..
