Default Low offset question

How low of an offset can you go on a '05 TSX with an 18x8~18x9 rim with a 3"+ drop.
Thanks in advance and yes, I have searched this topic.

Default Re: Low offset question (smoothe)

if you are doing 18x8, the offset has to be ATLEAST +48
im not sure about 18x9 but i know 18-19x8.5" is ATLEAST +52

so 18x9 you WILL have issues... im looking for rims too and you are going to have to modify the suspension at the rear for sure if you are going to go so wide because you will rub something. and a 3+ drop?? be prepared to buy a camber kit and get an alignment... i live near the hamilton area, so when you are done, i would love to see what that looks like with a 3 inch drop... i want to drop mines so the rear tires tuck ATLEAST the top portion of the tires

www .ronjonwheels. com have some nice rims

why such low offset? are you planning on buying Deep Dish rims?

i dont think the +38 ~ +40 offset will work in the front, then again, i could be wrong

Not my TSX, but he is running a staggered setup with very low offsets.
18x8 front +35
18x9 rear +30

FWIW - I was running 18x8 +45 Advans and they rubbed in front when I lowered the car 3". Might have been corrected with a slight amount of negative camber...

how do you plan on turning with 9 inch wide wheels in the front? and can you tuck the rears at 9 inches without rubbing rear wheel well??

PLUS... with the wheels having such deep dish, youll be putting strees on the suspension parts, am i wrong? cause our cars do weigh a lot
