Default Changing the final drive?

I purchased a k24a2 motor with trany to swap in my EK civic...I'm wondering if you can take the JDM Civic Type R final Drvie 0f 5.062 and put it in the K24a2's trany?

Thanks

You can buy the 5.062 FD from hmotorsonline...I have tried a k24a2 with SK2 stage 1 cams and a custom header with a Bully 4 puck sprung ceramic disc and with there NXX technology in the P.P....it was an easy pedal and took the power with ease!!!!!

Cheers to everyone!!!!

the 5.062 FD makes more sense on a K20 tranny... putting it on a K24 Tranny would just make the gears soo damn short... well i like top speed but i guess you are going it for quicker acceleration!
BUT if you are going to do that, put smaller wheels on the car too... well smaller than 17

also... with the stock ratio, when i am driving 100 KPH (or 60MPH) a in top gear is around 2600 +/-... so with the 5.0xx it would be like 3100 +/-, and if u drive and faster than 3000RPM, youll see your gas go down like this `-_
