looking at trading my integra and getting an SUV. a CRV of course! was wondering what the difference was between the models and years. anything spiffy about the newer 99-01 models? difference between LX and EX?

 

Well, I know nothing about the 2nd gen 2002 models, but here's a quick rundown on the 1st gen. (off the top of my head):

97-98 = 126hp - 2.0 L - I-4

99-01 = 146hp - 2.0 L - I-4 - and a few different color choices

LX = fwd or awd, steel wheels w/ hubcaps, no cruise (i think), plastic side mouldings (i think), no cd player (i think)

EX = awd, alloy wheels, cruise, painted mouldings, cd player

also 2000/2001 had the se's. they painted more of the bumpers and side moldings, am/fm/tape/cd player with tweeters and some came with sunroofs. oh and the se's had painted hard sparetire covers too. i have a 98 and am happy with it. could use more power..but its fine for the family hauler.
