I don't mean to talk **** but there is no way in hell a freaking damn civic with only 197 HP that runs as fast as a s2000. Is this even possible?

I don't know, maybe your car is fast. I see you have seveal mods to your car so maybe you can beat the new si. However, I don't know for sure if that si can really run 14.2. If anyone don't believe me, go to the new si forum and look for the topic of stock si running 14.2 stock. hahahahaha....stock si fun even or faster than s2000. I guess people should buy the new si then since it cost a little more than half of the s2000 but run as fast or faster.

Re: (bonnyman)
Its totally possible. The car has been hitting high 14's buy most drivers so far. Atco is the best track in the states because it is at sea level, so you'll see most peoples best times at atco. This kid must have really been able to drive though, I'd like to see what this kid can do with a few nice mods.
And comparing it to an S2000 is ridiculus. S2000's will run high 13's if driven properly, and the new Si is nowhere near as fun as a rwd car.

Guys with less hp have run better times. (power/weight is everything)

Re: (EP3surfer)
The guy ran a 14.268...so basically a 14.3 . The car wasnt 100% stock, it has a greddy evo catback exhaust. The guy lowered his tire pressure, and also powershifted (not letting off the gas). Like the above guy said, most people have been running like 14.8s and thats bone stock. So with an exhaust, some good driving, and lowering your tire pressure its totally possible and believable. The k-series is very responsive to mods, especially since the stock compression is 11:1 on the si. The key really is a good 60ft time..a lot of these people are pullin like 2.3-2.4 60fts. This guy cut a 2.16 on all seasons...probably why he ran pretty decent. So all in all it is possible.
