All of the major brand headers - SoS, Comptech, Tiatec, etc. - are of very similar design. They are all single diameter, equal length 3-1 designs. Construction details differ, but I have never seen a good dyno comparison that convincingly showed one out performed another.

I talked to John at Hytech last year and he mentioned he was planning to build a stepped-tube, anti-reversion nsx header. If budget is not your primary concern, you might touch base with him and see if he ever got around to it.

If you search on Nsxprime, there are bunch of dyno sheets of different headers. I had comptech and liked it for its build quality. The only downside with it is that it is not equal length so it may not make as much HP.(although I'm not sure if this is really a true statement anyway) I've seen other venders header and some of the weld/build quality is questionable at best.

Some of the Chinese copies of the old DC Sports headers are an abomination. Complete junk and they often don't fit right.

Honestly, if you get one of the good brands, you are fine.

The OP is Danny from SSR/DTR fabrication. I'm pretty sure he's gauging interest before he starts making custom header for the NSX.
His headers are top notch BTW

I saw the fujitsubo exhaust manifolds for the NSX and they look gorgeous.

i have TopSpeed headers and the quality is very good, paid $500 on ebay. i noticed my car runs smoother, and made my exhuast quieter on the lowend. i saw on ebay for the gt-one headers, c'mon $4500!!! you got to be kidding me. Also there are less cuts and welds on the topspeed, compared to the gt-one on ebay. http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showt...p+speed+header

I run Comptech headers and think they're fine. If you do decide to fab some up, I'd think that having the option of ceramic coating would be very attractive. Build quality is a must and equal length a good idea. Stamp some JDM name on it and you'll be golden with the posers.

For me, with the header options right now, the only design I'd switch to would be the Hytech headers.
