Default front end conversion?

A friend of mine picked up a piled up NSX and was looking to do a ... wait for it... civic front end conversion on it?! Now I by no means think this will work nor do I think it is a good idea, however, I need to know has it ever been done and if so has anyone seen a pic? I can't believe I posted this, this is ridiculous.

I KNOW! did you not read my post I think this guy is nutz! To top it all off he wants to retro fit his turbo B20 into it, he got just a smashed shell no interior for cheap and he's going to try and ghetto some **** together. He made it sound like this was common? Don't shoot the messenger, this is sheer morbid curiosity here. Anyway, I'll take that as a no.

As a friend your obligated to talk your buddies out of stupid ideas such as this. Just thinking about this off the top of my head would take some SERIOUS money. The front ends are two completely different fitments. Completely....

The engine bay...OMG!

Tell him to drop an NSX engine in a Civic. That is more realistic.

I've been around the import car scene for a long time, especially the NSX world, and I have never seen nor even heard of anyone doing this.

Me neither. All I said is that it seems a bit more realistic. I'm sure it would take some serious work. God, just thinking about this idea makes my head hurt.

Putting a Civic front end on a top notch sports car is like having sex with your sister. You just don't do that ****.

I once wanted to put the CL headlights in a EG. Tell him to see an NSX in person, its a gorgeous car. Maybe he has NO taste, cause the EG has the ugleist headlights, there just ugly, and the front is boring.

I saw an NSX today. the 97+ NSX. I know, but this is the FIRST time i have seen one in person. I see more ferrrais than NSXs, cause no one knows what the hell an NSX is, and no one bought one in the first place. Really a bargain for a supercar at 90 grand. Was it bad marketing? Maybe no marketing, it sat in a showroom to draw people in, and they raced it on the track. No one seems to care really. I'd like one someday, its pretty and easy to drive. And its got more grip than me when I'm at Starbucks lookin at those fine *** bitches before I realize there 15, OH!

aw come on, it could be worse. The 2000 Civic Si in blue is a good lookin car, granted it doenst work on a NSX. Have ya seen that group of people that did SO much bodywork they made a complete-body kit for a NSX that made it like a F40? Problem was that it didnt look like a F40, or a NSX, and wasnt as good as either, so i consider it a failure that made a semi-good lookin car with some ferrari parts, but they put the chrome horsey on it, which is blasphemy.
