Default why do valid posts keep getting deleted?

what happened to the now 2 posts on the ITR going 150?

Yeah, I was wondering where it went...

I'm sure everyone's car on here is COMPLETELY STREET LEGAL....

This moderation crap has got to stop...one day it's "why aren't the topics ITR related" and they get deleted, the next it's "why is there so much OT posts"....

This was ITR related and he had a valid question...

I think that the moderator that deleted his post has some explaining to do....because he was speeding on the highway, you think it's OK to be the "police"?...because if we can't talk about ITR's here, then H-T.com might as well shut down...

Just tired of this place turning into communist Cuba.............

As well as my dyno chart post being deleted?

Are dyno plots no longer allowed to be posted?

I just wanted to know if anybody else had problems with there tires shaking at a high rate of speed (140+). I'm sure there are some owners here who have gone that fast. Infact I know for a fact because I've seen pictues of ITR clusters indicating over 140. Also I know some people who autocross/race have taken it that fast. Its a valid ITR question.

at an indicated 139/ 140 with three people in the car my tires/wheels were fine. No shaking from the steering wheel.

not sure who deleted it (mayebe Boba? ), but to answer the question...I've never had any shaking on the autox or the track. Most likely one of the wheels is out of balance?

i deleted the post asking what happened to my 150mph post but did not delete the original. My opinion on this is....if you have a problem with a post being deleted ask the moderator with the Instant message feature what the problem is...but not post where did my post go and then after that post the original back after the problem has been settled

Its not realy a shaking, its feels more like I have a flat tire. And it started at around 140 and got worse up to 150 where i shut down. Could the V rating on the tires be off? Not that I travel that fast all the time (this is the first time I had it over 120 since i bought it), I'd just like to know... Up to 140 it was smooth as glass.

Lip: I understand that, but I had no clue as to who deleted it and why. I did not receive and IM from anybody, I just looked for the post and noticed it was gone. Sorry for posting the "Where did my post go".

it very very well may be your tires and or tire balance. I've had my car up to a good 160 and it was extremely smooth...almost too smooth as if i was floating

there should be a way for people to know when a moderator (a specific mod, not just by a missing post) deletes a post...I think that is the LEAST a person can ask for...

what i meant was...ask a moderator using the IM feature..not wait for one if its a big concern that its gone.

Maby the deleting moderator should IM the person who created the post. I wonder how many post have been deleted, and people don't even realize it. I give this board 6 months before its boring as hell.

i just im'd this to someone

i understand but to be honest i'll be happy to turn it over to someone else(being a moderator)cause to clarify and post on deleted posts is just too time consuming. its hard enough to go through the posts very very very quickly if something catches my eye and get rid of it...but to post explanations on top of that sorta blows and would take up too much of my time...especially when i'm working. what i do is(me personally) if i delete a post i usually do what your saying...post and lock or post and lock for a bit and then delete. the other thing i may do is delete and make my own post asking for better posts and not this this or this type stuff. its a pain in the *** and wouldn't mind giving up doing it.

there are posts everyday...but it varies. the thing is....who's able to go through them during the day? i for one....actually work and i'm on this board far too much as it is.

i'm going to stay a moderator...but i'll be more then happy to recommend someone that can do this daily and take the heat. i recommend that person to go to the moderators forum and look at posts regarding this

Well, I can tell you that. Your car isn't an ITR and you don't have an ITR motor, so a post of your dyno has nothing to do with ITR's, or integra's for that matter. It should be in the Civic or tech boards. just MO.

Well, what if he wanted the opinion of the ITR forum guys? There shouldnt be any rule stating that people with certain information or certain cars should be confined to a certain forum.

Like they said, I also think some things should be eased up a bit. I mean, because he doesnt drive an almighty ITR he cant post a dyno in here to converse with the members who exclusively visit this forum?

Not that I moderate this forum, nor do I feel its even an issue that needs to be discussed in the forum, as opposed to Members corner, or private email/IM. Im not trying to add fuel to the fire, but if its an issue that you all feel needs attention, like the man said, its something that maybe should be brought through email or IM, not on the board.

Exactly...I was looking for the opinions and comments of Type R owners...

So where should I post...since its a CRV motor?

No, I agree whole heartidly with you all, I was just assuming that was their reasoning. the ITR forum tends to be the 'tech' Integra forum with an occaisional snobby remark every couple of hours

I agree with the moderator IMing the person if they delete the post... if they take the time to delete the post they should take the time to notify the poster.

But I think they're doing a great job, I'm sure there is a lot of **** that goes on in the backround that we, the users don't see.
I use to go to a lot of different forums but now this is the only one i go to for ITR news and advice, the moderators deserve some credit, and if h-t gets boring, it's because of users like me who post questions like, "how do i get better gas mileage in my type R"... ok j/k my questions aren't that bad... I hope hehe
