Ed are you cruisin' out to Cali at all soon? Are you up for a REAL drive?! I have to go there for an interview and I was thinking of taking the R rather than flying, we could stay with some friends of mine, or I have family in San Diego...

Hey Ryan, before you spend some money on a rack have a friend move the steering wheel back and forth while you check to see if the rack assy moves at all.
Loose rack mounting will do this. Is it only doing it making left turns or right also?
Can the pop be heard while stationary and turning the wheel? hth.
