Default Vtec controller question

Been looking into getting a vtec controller. Narrowed it down between the Apexi VAFC and the Fields. I'm thinking of the Field's one because it looks low-tech and seems simpler to use. Anyone have any experience with these? Any advice would be appreciated.

I believe you can do more with the Apexi, I know the Apexi is easy to use once it's been setup, the fields one ain't half as cool looking.

VAFC II has a much better interface and kills the Fields as far as performance and features....

Really? I just assumed they did exactly the same thing. I flipped through both instruction manual and couldn't find any features that were different. I don't have one, so I could be wrong. Don't get me wrong, I love the bling-bling of the Apexi, it just looks much harder to use. 5 minutes pushing buttons on the Field's and I got how it worked.

What are the extra features of the Apexi?

Once I own one, how hard is it to figure out?

I've had both. The VAFC allows you to tailer the fuel increments a little further than the Fields unit. If you realize how the Fields works, the VAFC is not difficult at all, just takes a minute to get used to it. Just looks really confusing because of the menus, but it's not
