thanks for your input but i dont ever recall saying anything about street racing. i was hoping to get a video on a twisty track or a quarter mile track. it doesnt matter to me as long as its a type r smoking an m3

Umm some one from expo 02 has the video. Its Chat in Ed's (zygspeed) car passing a new M3

 

Unless the R is turboed, i dont see an R womping on a new m3 (333hp). This includes track or strip.

 

I don't think you've seen some M3 owners drive.

 

To be honest, they arent THAT much faster, atleast on the highway it was definitely faster than my mostly stock ITR at the time, but he was only creeeeeping away from me very slowly. I was rather surprised. Now, from a standing start, it would be a complete kill, ITR losing bigtime. I believe this has already been discussed before though so lets not beat it to death.

I'm not sure one exists.

If it does, I've never seen it.

Plus... what's so exciting about a 'video' of one car smoking the other? I hope that doesn't assist in getting you excited.

 

This is so true, a bad driver could make an exotic car look slow. My feelings are if you have enough money to buy a new M3 you should take 1500 or so and invest in a driving school, so you can handle and use what you are buying.

about the video though, never seen one. Maybe try Kazaa or something.
