Default Two Radiators?

I was driving today, and my car stared to get warm. The needle moved above the regular spot, and because I was stuck in traffic, the fan was the only thing moveing air through the rad. Which got me thinking, has anyone run two rads before? I have a half size civic one, and I was thinking about putting two rads in. I would have to get hose to attach them in series, but definately possible. But how well will this work? Honestly it only get hot enough for about 2 months here where it would make a difference but which is why I won't want to but a larger rad, and dual fans. Tell me if you guy think this is possible, or is it a huge waste of time.
BTW, I have an aluminum half size, in there and the stock dual core civic one in my garage. Since I have no AC I can fit it in the opening beside it.

Ohh just cam t mind, will the header heat up the second rad, making it useless?
Or is an oil cooler the way to go?

Just a crazy idea, feel free to write whatever.

Why get 2 when you could get on full size that will do the trick?

just get a full size one, wrap the exhaust manifold with hear wrap, and get an oil cooler.

Fluidyne radiator FTW.

I only have one fan on it and even after long idle in heavy traffic it never even touches halfway.

Are you saying you have a half-size Civic radiator on your ITR? If so, it's undersized to begin with. Just get a full-size as suggested here. The plumbing for two half-size radiators would be a pain in the ***, and bleeding the system of air bubbles would be annoying as hell.

Edit: Also, an oil cooler won't do anything for water temps.
