Two problems at once

Today I was driving my car and when I got home the speedometer stopped working and my voltage was fluctuating between 12-14. Whats going on here?

sounds like a charging system problem.
I would check your alternator. It may not be supplying power to the car
Does the car still start up? or is the battery dead now?

The car still starts up fine and its just the power is fluctuating. The idle jumps too whenever the power fluctuates

It could be a loose wire , either going to the alt or the ground strap...

My friends Prelude did something similar. Turns out there was a loose wire on the alternator... Peep that first... Caused the Spedo to freak out, and the ABS light to come on and stuff...
