Hi all,..

I just wonder do we have to follow the torque spec which Honda recommended when we are installing aftermarket parts...

well i do when im doing parts for the engine.. but like susp. i just tighten it. i know its not a good idea. and interior is no need for torquspecs either if there are any.

for aftermarket parts, the torque spec is 450-470 lb ft.

besure to torque it down this much, or youre asking for trouble

If you got the specs handy and a torque wrench, I don't see why you would not torque it to spec.

The simplest thing like wheel lug nuts are a good idea to torque to spec.
