i dont know the gains from a testpipe, but the gains i got going from a 2.25 mugen header and stock cat to 2.5 dc jdm and test pipe were easily noticeable, with nearly the same loudness as before, with a tanabe RM exaust

i don't think u will gain much power just runing the testpipe.. high flow cat is better instead of testpipe..

i agree that i sounded too condesending...my bad

however, regarding the car burning fuel issue
a cat converts the smog to carbon dioxide...without the cat, the smog comes out as carbon MONOXIDE...which is highly toxic (it disrupts cellular respiration)...therefore, its not simply burning a hole in the ozone!

Nice.. If you get a JDM header and 2.5" cat/test pipe the gains will be even better. Get an aftermarket exhaust and you will be smiling even more..

Its only for a few months. Recycling the glass and plastic is an expensive processes. Once the city gets back on its financial feet, it will be re-instated.

did you not read?!?!...i just said that the carbon monoxide that comes out from a test pipe affects cellular respiration not necessarily ozone!

ok heres a high flow cat question. I currently have a DC4-1, AEM, 5Zigen exhaust with a stock cat. How much of a gain could I expect by getting a high flow cat considering my current setup?
