I am glad you're okay. After my accident it took me 3 months to get behind the wheel of a car and about a year to get back into spirited driving. Snap-oversteer still scares the crap out of me.
Brooksville, FL (hour north of Tampa, hour and a half west of Orlando).
And to the other comments, I bought the car without ABS which certainly would have helped and to the others I'll get pictures damn lol

Glad you're ok.
You should look into buying the car back and selling it to someone on here. Would be nice to see someone part it out to help others rebuild their theft recovery with genuine ITR parts. Make some good come out of such a bad situation, you know?
Good luck with everything.

That same situation nearly got the best of me on several occasions, most of them early in ownership and just not knowing that this car could oversteer THAT much. If you really loved driving your car, you'll get back in that (or some other) Recaro within a couple weeks. Guaranteed.
I'm just glad this guy didn't manage to take out the other car on the road, and possibly KILL a mom, dad, son, daughter......
Also, if the insurance company finds out that car doesn't have an anti-lock braking system on it, you can probably kiss your claim goodbye.
First and foremost glad you are okay... cars are just cars when it really comes down to it. Regarding driving on public roads... no matter how much oversteer your car has, you should never be traveling at a speed where you put yourself in a situation where lift throttle oversteer can cause an issue. My condolences on losing the car - the only place I could accept losing my car without deep regret is losing it on the track.
