Default Replacing Cluster

If you replace your OEM Cluster...
how this will affect the Odometer? I mean, you kinda cheat if later on you sell your car, doesn't it?
anyone Replace theirs with JDM or others?
I like spoon cluster... and that's an upgrade that I will be able to see for myself..
because I am in front of it the whole time!!...
(not like a body kit where other people see it, and I am inside looking at steering wheels)...

Comments guys...

I replaced mine with Spoon. You have your mileage starts from 0 again. that's why I keep the old one. When ppl buy my car one day, I can at least show them what I had before.

Is there a way to turn the mile #s up to match your stock cluster?

I know a few guys that buy a cheap cluster from the junkyard so they can use it on long trips so when they sell their car it will show less milage than what it really has

To me this is just like stealing. Fuggin thieves

I never thought of that.

I was also thinking about getting the spoon cluster and spoon steering wheel, but I'm worried about warranty issues, I'm gonna ask the dealer tomorrow and I'll let you know.

Yeah, I need to know about warranty issues too...
I will replace mine with Spoon soon...
I think it's not that bad since it is a used one...(someone already figured out all the lights position, connections, etc)...
I think I can rev to 8K and still feel better since the needle will be around 14:30 instead of 16:30....(14:30 and 16:30 position of a watch)...

well, I have no intention of selling my R.. so I am not going to steal any mileage from changing the cluster... but I will keep my original, just for fun.. maybe put in front of my desk while I play GT3.

Oh yeah, another thing..
is it possible to swap the Speedo part (with the MPH and mileage counter) to Spoon cluster? If I can do that, that will be the best!...

anyone with experience? (come on, a lot of you get the JDM cluster, right)

If you ever have a problem, and need to bring it back to the dealer for warranty, just return it to stock (whatever you are changing)... btw dont call the dealer that you usually deal with for warranty issues... and dont give them your real name if they ask for it!.. most dealers are just looking for a reason to void your warranty
