Radio Code: P-EO... What's this?
(It's an OEM CD player)
Leaving to head home yesterday from about 4 hours out of town, I turned off my music to call my brother and make sure I was heading in the right direction. When I turned the player back on, the disc just started making a weird noise, a code P-EO came up, and spit the disc out.
So I pulled over to the side of the road, I wasn't going to drive 4 hours home without music if I could do anything about it. Cut the car off, tried it with a different disc, nothing, tried 6 other discs, nothing, disconnected the battery, reconnected it 2-3 minutes later, nothing. Same P-EO code every time it started reading the disc.
So I started driving, and 10 minutes later, gave it another shot... Bam, it worked perfectly for the rest of the trip.
What happened here? Is it on it's way out? Should I start saving for a new CD player?
Any input is appreciated.

You can try using a cleaning disk, but the information I've read indicates that in most cases you need to replace the unit. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I used to get the same code on my ITR radio. Then 10 mins later it works perfect. I upgraded to a 2006 CRV 6-disc radio. Never had a problem with that.
