I just got a 00 ITR a month ago. I forgot to ask the owner what the # of the car was. so my question is how to i find out the number of the car? i was told it was the last 6 digits of the vin. But the number is 004669 and i didnt think there were that many made. thanks

Look on the armrest of the car, there should be a plaque and on that plaque there will be a number 00-xxxx, but instead of xxxx, there will be a number that number is your type R's number.

 

If the plaque doesnt exist, for whatever reason, you better ask the original owner... otherwise, you are SOL.
