Why didn't you go with a 98 us spec front end?

why mess with success? Looks good man. I'm curious about the roof as well though.

I would say 99% it's a GSR no moulding w/ 5 Lugs. Many People did it .

Looks too clean to be a GSR. Aside from the moonroof, it looks like an ITR.

I think rino is one of the few members on HT.com who has an ITR with a moonroof/sunroof installed.

Looking good with all the parts

We already went through this and harassed him when he first signed up.

He proved it was an ITR.

How did he prove it. Did he post up pics of his carfax report. Best looking GSR I have seen yet. If not best looking and clean R. Keep her safe

He proved it with Vin, Doorjamb markings, and ITR-specific parts. It's an ITR.

Rino (Jake's) car is a true '97 R.... he got it from florida i believe after someone else mistreated the car.... he can give you the details

he got a 94-97 OEM bumper cause he wants to return the car to it's heritage.... it had 98+ front and rear bumpers I believe....

He'll chime in eventually.... sweet car keep up the good work Jake

where is this garage??? your parents build it??? that is awesome..

So the sunroof effects his performance right?...handling and things like that

...and people will always think your car is an ls or gsr, making it less likely to get stolen

yes, been discussed many times. previous owner had it installed

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by icefire069 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Why didn't you go with a 98 us spec front end?</TD></TR></TABLE>

because it is a 97 ITR

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SiR99 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">So the sunroof effects his performance right?...handling and things like that</TD></TR></TABLE>

im not a race car driver, so it really doesnt matter at all to me. i autocross and such, but i dont notice it because, like i said, im not a racecar driver

well, good thing you left the other 1% available for error, becasue it is an ITR

thanks for the great comments guys

i gave rino the benefit of the doubt because i vaguely remember him defending his statement that it was a R and then proving it. laughs on everyone who doubted and wouldn't give a chance to ask first.

Looks good. I like the painted trunk area and gunmetal cover

Luckily you can buy the roof sheetmetal from Acura to put it back to stock
