Offset for MF10s
I've been torn between the two offsets offered by Mugen for their Mf10s. They offer a +43 and +50. Now I've been recommended STRONGLY to get the 43 from RandD but STRONGLY recommeded by King to use the +50. (THis may have something to do with the fact that they stock those) But anyways, isnt more versatile to use the 50 and then a spacer? You dont have to worry about rubbing the fender when running wider tires and can fit equally as large calipers that would fit in a 43.
Any other ideas of pros and cons would be welcome. Thanks

Reading some members here at HT that use MF10's on their R(below are their comments) Hope it helps your decision.
From BPR
"I have 225/40 street tires on the +50 mm offset 16x7 MF-10s. No rubbing that I can detect. The +43mm offset push the rim outwards 7 mm - so the widest you can go on those is 215/45 unless you roll the fenders in the rear."

"I run the +43mm...with the 215-45/16 Azenis I had some rubbing on the inner front fender(body)...but the rubbing was slight. Mugen recommends +50 for street, and +43 for track...I bought mine used before I had any clue...but for the amount I paid it didn't matter ."

"i run the 43's but the fenders need some trimming"

Azenis are an unusually wide tire - so this example is not typical.
The difference in overall track width between the two offsets is 14 mm = ~3/4"
The 43mm offset will fit a 215 width tire
The 50mm offset will fit a 225 width tire (which makes up for offset difference anyways)
If you're planning a brake upgrade - get the +43 mm offset for maximum caliper clearance.

If you're only using 205s - I would too

I don't know.. With the 5mm spacers and stock ITR wheels, it feel like that I have more grip around corners. I still have to try the Mugen MF10's w/spacers. So far it "feels" like with the wider track, i have more grip available, but I won't be able to compare until I go to the next autocross.
But I have a feeling that the extra track by using the +43 mm offset is worth it. (I have no real basis for this opinion though)
