Default o2 sensor code help

Hi All. I'm throwing code 41 o2 sensor. on my swapped 94 itr. I cralled under the car and noticed the sensor is plugged in but the wires are not connected to anything they are just hanging there... does anyone know where they should plug in to?

Thanks in advance

Sorry, but I am a bit confused. You're saying the O2 sensor is plugged in, but the wires are not connected...are you saying the wires are cut, do you mean you have the O2 sensor in place but it isn't plugged into the harness anywhere???? More info needed...also is it the front or rear O2?

I have an obd1 so I assume there is only 1 o2 sensor and yes it the sensor is in screwed in the where is should go but the plug end is missing, the pins are there but no plug, and I don't know where it would plug into if there was one. I heard with an aftermarket header you need to extend the wire? Is this true?

Hope this helps.

Thanks
