Default New CTR, not belong to be called type-R?

I mean, this car is heavy and has 17inch rims. Why the hell put Honda 17 inch rims on this car? It would be better to have smaller rims and tire diameter and therefore a bit longer fd, caus epower gets loss by heavy and big rims.

I think Honda is using more and more the name "type-R" as an marketing thing and not for real performance cars.

2 friends of mine have a 2002 CTR.

I had the chance to drive it and this is my conclusions

The CTR is very easy to drive, silent, and she doesn't look like a "real" sport car to my mind.

I mean, the handling of my ITR is 10 times more "viril", i think the ITR has to be piloted and the CTR to be droven.
I felt nothing in the CTR, its too much quiet, we hear vtec too little.
The perfs are pretty the same than the ITR, but the feelings are away.

the 17" rims are needed for the launch, because the motricity is not good (even worst on the wet)

If i had to choose between a CTR and a ITR, i'll take the ITR without thinking, that's a real "R" (as the old CTR)
