Can you please help me? i have a 98 type-r and it runs like crap......engine code #9 is on and the car backfires like crazy.....what can i do to fix it........i think its timming........and what should i put my cam gears at for a 100% stock type-r....... thanks anything will help!!!

 

code 9 is cylinder position sensor (Either intermittent interruption or No signal) as per helms manual.

 

but i wanted to know how to fix the problem
