Default Need help with eld sensor(pic)

Hello,right my car ticks over at about 1500rpm and then drops after a few seconds to 1200rpm,diagnostic puts a fault up saying ELD and basicly somone has removed mine and i can't find any wiring for the sensor to be pluged into under the fuse box,why would this be done?

^^^This is what im left with^^^

Also on my list of problems ,there should be a pipe going from the tube above the sensor but there isn't,What's it for?

Sorry pics may be a bit large

wow those pics are huge!! as far as the eld goes there is no wires that come out of the box for it........ its got 2 tabs on it and it snaps into that square and then the end screws for the 2 fuses next to it is what the eld goes to

the nipple on the throttle body is for emissions i believe......... cant remember what it was for as the USDM cars dont have that one

sorry if that first bit is confusing

i already told you about the eld........ there is no plug for it....... it only screws into the 2 fuse end screws and snaps into that boxed area that is empty on your car

facing the same problem with the ELD CEL.

The nipple is connected via a vacuum hose, connecting from the nipple in your picture to the carbon canister located on your firewall.

hope this helps

the ELD has nothing to do with vacuum...

ELD = electronic load detector

there is nothing electronic going on with the vacuum line...usually ELD is for the alternator and it's output voltage...

if you have a bad eld, you need a new fuse box. it is a part of it and it plug in on the under side of the fuse box.
