Is there anyway to have the signal bulb not come on when I turn on my headlights? I want the side marker bulb on only and the signal to flash when I signal. Is there a way?

 

Use a test light figure which is the (parking + wire) I forget I believe its green
Cut it (leave about 2-3 inches though to make it easier to connect it later on.

 

the pre-98 integras did that cool sequence flash, where the turn signal would go bright in front and turn off the side part, and then would go dim in front and light up the side part...like the gen4 preludes...i always liked that about my GS-R, wonder why they changed it. Maybe rig up a switch so you can turn it to normal incase the man gets on yer case..."what do you mean officer, they're on...are you feeling well?"

use a little piece of same size/type wire....solder ends back together and cover with Heatshrink.

Or just use solderless crimp connecters...

 

I've seen an M5 with sixteen switches

 

You don't have to cut it...take a pushpin or needle and you can just remove the connector from the light plug. That's what I did

I have an easier solution. You take the bulb out, take some electrical tape and cover the contact for lights on. Easy, and you dont' need to worry about connecting wires later...what i did anyhow.

If i understand you correctly and it's a dual fillament (sp?) bulb, then all you have to do is use an electrical tape and put it in the contact point (pin or whatever you want to call it) in the socket that gets the power when you turn on your lights and leave the other one as it.
