I just noticed this light was flashing when i first start my car. I don't have the owners manual yet (it's on its way.). Is this the check engine light, or something seperate? The car is still under warranty, so i guess i should take it in and have it checked out. Thanks, oh, and it blinks 10 times, then doesn't come on again until you turn the car off and turn it back on. just a reminder light Honda put in so you'll go to the dealer to give them money

Just keep up on your own maintenance and reset the light when it comes on (every 7500 miles). There is a little button under the dash straight down from the steering wheel. Just hold it down when you put the car on ON.

 

Thanks man. Nothing seemed wrong, the car is running strong and shows no problems. The car is nearing 25000 miles (it's at like 239**) right now, so i thought maybe it was for that, but I guess not.

Well, i went out and looked, and could not locate a button under the steering wheel on the dash. Any pictures of exactly where this button is located?

 

Here you go. It's a black button, so it's hard to see. But if you just feel on the bottom of the dash you'll get it

y shi - who just got back from fishing off malibu...hooked a barac00da using a sardine which in turn hooked a frEEkin shark that jumped out of the wata
