I have a little over 7500 miles on my R and have changed the oil twice at around 3k and 6k. The Maint Reqd light is now on continuously even though I've pressed the reset button. Help please!

 

Press the button in until the light goes out... about 5secs or so.

 

Did you have a 7500 mile check up done on the car?... When I did, I think the mechanics forgot to push and reset my light, as it was still on. And yeah, you have to hold it in until it goes out.
If it keeps coming back on, I'd visit the dealer asap.

Prolly not the issue but a lose gas cap will do this too.

 

I thought a loose gas cap could set off the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, not the MAINT REQUIRED LIGHT...
